Sun, Smiles, and Sompting Morris in Derbyshire

We joined our hosts Black Pig Border Morris for an incredible Day of Dance! It was a brilliant mash-up of styles with T’owd Man Border, Makeney Morris, and the talented youngsters from Folk Friendzy. Huge thanks to Black Pig for the invite!

The fun didn’t stop there. On Sunday, we teamed up with the Ripley Green Garter Clog side at the historic Cromford Mill. We even squeezed in a tour of Arkwright’s Mill, the world’s first water-powered cotton factory. We made sure to pay our respects to Sir Richard Arkwright the only way we know how: in true Morris fashion!
