WASSAIL!

Tree bashing and a loud hullabaloo to scare away the spirits, it was a proper Sussex midwinter celebration.
 
Huge thanks to everyone who joined the procession, to The Vine at Tarring for hosting the ceremony, Prize Old Mummers for their brilliant performance and South Downs Folk Singers for their wonderful wassail songs.
Here’s to a fruitful 2026!
